Horse and Cat Vet – Carterton, Wairarapa

Are you a dedicated and passionate Veterinary Nurse who loves cats? Horse and Cat Vet is looking for a new team member to join our small, progressive, and family-friendly clinic.
About Us:
At Horse and Cat Vet, we are a close-knit team of one Vet/ owner, two veterinary nurses and an administrator, dedicated to providing the highest standard of care for our feline and equine patients. We are a new, progressive, and tech-savvy practice equipped with ultrasound, in house bloods, small hospital and digital and dental x-ray. Our caseload is varied, from community desexing to in-depth medical workups for our many middle-aged and senior cat patients. We are an ISFM Cat Friendly accredited practice (and aiming for Gold!), so a love for cats and a commitment to low-stress handling are essential.
We are a Living Wage and Allied Veterinary Professional (AVP) accredited employer based in Carterton, in the lovely Wairarapa. Our clinic is small, we are a little unconventional as we currently work out of a renovated caravan and self contained small hospital, so you need to enjoy a non corporate atmosphere. Our team is supportive, highly motivated, and we all have a great sense of humor!
